We are an informational website designed to provide education about homeschooling.
We were originally written as a resource for Garrett County, Maryland, but because we found that so many families were using the website outside of the area, we converted the site to make it friendly to homeschooling families everywhere. However, all local regulations and some other sections are applicable only to Garrett County, Maryland. It will be specified when information applies to Garrett County only.
Homeschool regulations are vastly different in different places. Therefore, some of the things found in this website may not apply to your area. It is very important that you consult your local regulations for specifics.
All of the information was written by homeschooling families. We are not affiliated with any organization, sponsor, or curriculum company, and we are not compensated in any way for our reviews. Reviews of curriculums and resources are based upon our honest opinion after use of each product.
