Students receiving Penn Alps scholarship

Penn Alps Music Scholarship

Penn Alps offers music scholarships to area students who are in need of assistance financially to obtain music lessons. Students can select their own local instructor as long as it is one that is approved by the scholarship committee. The scholarship pays for lessons in both fall and spring semesters. Applications must be returned by August 15 for the fall semester, and December 15 for the spring semester.

The scholarship encourages study in classical styles, but students can choose lessons in either an instrument or voice.

Students receiving the scholarship must write a “Thank You” letter to the Scholarship Committee, and they must attend the spring recital.

For more information, visit Music at Penn Alps Scholarship.
